Admission into MEng/MSc/PhD Programmes for the 2026/2027 Session

Admission Requirements
Candidates must possess a minimum of Bachelor’s degree, Second Class Honors, in any branch of Engineering and Physical Sciences.
Candidates should have completed their NYSC before 25 September 2026 (for Nigerians only).
Consideration may be given to Sponsored Company Staff with good academic standing.
Award of Degree: MEng (engineering background) or MSc (physical sciences background) awarded by the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Application Processing Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₦30,000.00 in certified bank draft made payable to the Energy Technology Institute, University of Port Harcourt.
Scholarship: Limited scholarship space available for qualified candidates. Candidates are also expected to seek sponsorship from corporate bodies, e.g. PTDF, State Government and other sponsoring agencies.
