Admission Requirements

Candidates for the PhD programme shall possess, respectively, a Master’s degree with a CGPA of not less than 3.5 on a 5-point scale in Engineering and relevant Physical Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Geology, Geophysics with 5 years working experience) in energy-related industry

Candidates for the MEng/MSc programme shall possess a bachelor's degree in any branch of engineering or the physical/chemical sciences with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) or an acceptable postgraduate diploma (PGD) with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-point scale

Candidates must possess at least credit passes in the Senior Secondary School final year examination or GCE ‘O’ Level in English Language and Mathematics.

All candidates of Nigerian origin resident in Nigeria must have obtained their NYSC discharge certificates.
