In today's world, Nigeria and Africa are in dire need of sustainable infrastructure and resilient energy solutions to combat the impact of climate change. The global shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources is an urgent response to this challenge. Our university should lead in solving this. Oil-dependent nations like Nigeria face economic crises due to the global push for low-carbon energy. It focuses on closing skill gaps to advance green technology in energy, industry, agriculture, and transport. The program covers solar, wind, hydropower, biomass, clean cooking, industrial decarbonization, energy auditing, smart-city development, and more.
